Ultraflex glues are water-based adhesives whose critical ingredient is a natural polymer, collagen.Collagen proteins, resulting from natural sources, are mixed with other harmless ingredients including Epsom Salt, sugar, glycerin, and water.Gelatin is a key element in our glue created as a by-product of the manufacturing processes of nationally recognized food and pharmaceutical companies.
American Adhesives, LLC has a wide variety of customers ranging from small box manufacturing to large book bindery. Our products are fully recyclable, replicable, and biodegradable. Our customerís products meet strict environmental guidelines which we perfect.
Harmless to the Environment
Can be handled as a non-hazardous waste and the spills are not detrimental to people or animals Safe Recycling

How the Glue is Produced
When Ultraflex Glues are assembled they are in liquid state at 100˚F.After approval by our technical lab our glue is then packaged and sent to our customers. When reheated at 140˚-150˚F the glue returns to liquid form ready to adhere.Formulas are available in a wide range depending upon customers needs:
Allowing customization for a broad array of user applications
Ultraflex Glue is not melted in a pre-melt tank but rather in a temperature-controlled, jacketed gluepot. It can be purely diluted to your first choice viscosity with clean hot water.Hot Ultraflex Glue is applied to one of the surfaces to be bonded and the surfaces are attached and compressed. The adhesive film cools and the bond forms. It may be applied with typical bench type gluers, brushes or rollers. It can also be applied by a wide range of highly sophisticated equipment.
